Subjugating with promises of eternal life,
Perpetuated by pedophiles and swindlers, claiming to be divine.

Expectations once held high now sully this utopian bliss,
From the overwhelming hypocrisies, any hope for more all but dismissed.

Why do so many follow the ways of the mass?
Condemned for their own free thoughts,
Penance allowed even after rape and other heinous acts.

What are the reasons for instilling all of this fear?
With hell's unending torture looming,
Conditioned and controlled, all must tithe and adhere.

As The Sea Parts is a music project in the metal genre that was created in 1995.
After recording in '95 and releasing a cassette demo in '96 to the underground metal scene, the project recorded again in 1999.
This recording was never completed and the project became inactive shortly after.
After a nearly 20 year hiatus, ATSP reformed early 2019 and will be releasing a full length album in 2021. ... more
